Timi grew up in Southern California riding in the hills of Palos Verdes and competing on the hunter/jumper circuit. She then trained thoroughbreds with partner Ian Jory, galloping thoroughbreds at Hollywood Park, Santa Anita and Del Mar, for twelve years. She was lucky enough to ride several top horses* who competed in stakes races throughout the U.S. including the Kentucky Derby, Pacific Classic, Belmont Stakes, and Santa Anita Derby. She earned her Master's degree from Loyola Marymount University where she taught for six years. She is now a full time artist and part-time dressage rider in Sun Valley, Idaho.
